About Me

I am product manager with IT company currently working from Pune.

Though I am a CS member since 2016, I myself was travelling and made the most of the COVID period as it was WFH. Now I am back and active on CS now ready to host and be the first lucky guest for someone :) (PS I am planning my first solo EU trip around Sept, anyone who can help hosting me, showing me around, sharing interesting places not too touristy though, it will be great)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can definitely travel to a place and live in a ⭐️hotel, eat a ⭐️restaurant, visit a mall and do shopping but then that would be visiting a place like a traveler. I feel couch surfing community gives me chance to see life from a local perspective, eat like them, travel like them, socialize like them. So I hope you accept me with an open mind so would I and go back with unique experiences. Hope to meet you in person.

As a guest
I want to explore a new place like a tourist and not like a traveler, in today's commercial world I feel CS is the best place to have authentic travelling experiences, travel like a local, understand cultures, taste unique food items and be a better traveler in turn.

As a host
Like I mentioned above if I as guest am looking for authentic experiences. So do I want for any CS guests, take them around to show them unique places, food, culture etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts
Home 2 Home Dennis Kailing, PS if you have not seen it, must watch 👌

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done Sky diving in the US to overcome vertigo (now that I have done it dont think will do it again ;) ), I have a won a native adventure race (enduro3 ) twice. I have trekked in the lower Himalayan range, Sarpass (11000 feet) and the Sahyadri's, I have done short treks in Australia.

A year back I started learning surfing, though I am not a pro, but I can stand on the board. I can share that experience, good surf school that I know.

I also explored the world of coffee by enrolling for a barista course. So I can share that experience as well.

My unsuccessful experience of training with an international celebrity trainer.

I watched a movie and in my business trip to America, I tried visit all the places mentioned in the movie, #treasurehunting 😂 #FantancyPiscian

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
-I can teach you how to communicate in the local languages (Hindi, Marathi) which will be handy if you plan to explore India on your own.
-Can teach you about digital Product Management.
-Indian cooking (biryani, daal, rice (trust is the best comfort food and its not spicy), mutton(lamb meat)).
-I can teach you about yoga nidra and its benefits(trust me it helps reducing distraction, improves focus and mindfulness and it just takes 20 mins

Learn: Would like to learn any new hobby that you can generate my curiosity in :)

Share: kitchen, utensils, internet. I can drop you to the close by bus stop.

I would like to discuss geo politics, your experience, interesting cultural perspectives. movies, music, technology related discussions.
