Hi! I'm Vishesh, people like to call me Fish for short! I'm an Indian Australian brought up in Dubai and Sydney, studying Computer Science at University of Sydney. As an avid designer and aspiring entrepreneur, I love pushing myself out of my comfort zone and meeting new people. I love learning about new cultures and people's upbringings. I feel like there's always something new to learn, and I hope you can be the one to teach me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard from other friends who've used couch surfing that it is a wonderful way to meet people and to get to know the city you're visiting more intimately. Also since we are on a budget, would be great to save a bit of money :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in high-school I took a total stranger out to prom. After over 40,000 rejections and tirelessly holding a sign saying "Will you be my prom date", I found a date. All this effort, just to prove, that strangers are really just friends waiting to be found. This bizarre yet effective social experiment, is just one of the many amazing things I've done.

Teach, Learn, Share

So open to learning about anything. I particularly love music, so if you have any musical instruments (though of course by no means a necessity) I would love to hear/learn from you. I also am happy to talk about what I'm studying and where I see that going in society, as well as the organising work I'm doing. I think it makes for an interesting conversation. Truly whatever you have to offer, or whatever you're interested in learning from me, I'm happy to provide.
