About Me

CURRENT MISSION

a happy and meaningful life

ABOUT ME

I enjoy learning, thinking, creating, exploring and being inspired.
As well as laughing, talking and smiling! I'm passionate about art, different cultures and meaningful conversations.
I'm curious, cheerful, idealistic, aspiring for depth and creativity, as well as enjoying simple things in life.

I was born and grew up in Lithuania. I studied in an art academy there, then went to an art and design school in Paris immersing into what this wonderful city of art and culture had to offer. I would have stayed in France longer, but I met someone special due to whom I moved all the way to Australia, Melbourne :)

Not easy to sum up oneself in a few sentences... I'm happy to meet new people so feel free to say hi!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It all started when i moved to Paris for my studies: before settling down in my own place, I was hosted by friendly locals, and later I started attending Parisian CS meetings, picnics, art crawls and other activities, even a hitchhiking game - I met wonderful people through CS and made many friends!
I'm not that active as i used to be, but I hope to meet more people from the CS community wherever I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have a look at "how i participate"... anyway, it has been only positive!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have stayed in a place in India where the locals had never seen foreigners before and took me almost for an alien!
I experienced incredible reactions of people just seeing me: apart from being stared at, I had my skin touched with admiration by some women and faced children nearly crying out of fear and confusion.. and most importantly I have fond memories of living in an Indian family and learning about the locals!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
