We are Vista Travellers, a young couple who interpret travelling their own way. We put travelling in context which for us means to introduce COUNTRIES instead of DESTINATIONS, to look for CULTURE instead of EXOTICISM, to meet PEOPLE instead of LOCALS, to appreciate REAL LIFE instead of TRAVELLER’S EXPERIENCE.
WE BELIEVE IN THE GOOD IN PEOPLE AND WANT TO PROVIDE THE MEANS IT REQUIRES TO DEVELOP IN EVERY ONE OF US REGARDLESS OF THE COUNTRY WE LIVE IN.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are keen on getting the feel of each country we visit. On one hand, we look for information useful for any traveller visiting the country. On the other hand, we look for new perspectives on countries we believe we are familiar with. We also want to learn new aspects of the national mentality that form the culture and its diversity. We believe the only way to get this information is to meet the locals and to gain in such way the first-hand information on their habits, traditions, their living environment and conditions.

List of my interests is quite long. Let’s mention at least some of them: obviously travelling, reading books, going to the theatre, watching movies, visiting galleries, exploring new cities and countries, learning new languages in the native environment, broadening horizons in museums, jogging, skiing, cycling, hiking, belly dancing, baking, etc.

TEACH
There is a lot of things we should be capable to teach you - useful tips on how to work with your devices, how to create a wonderful PowerPoint presentation, how to cook the traditional Slovak meal "Halušky", how to type on the keyboard with ten fingers etc.

LEARN
We want to learn as much as possible about your country, its culture, traditions. We want to learn what is your perceiption of your country and your people. We want to learn something about you and from you. We want to learn what it means to live in you country, in your city.
