About Me

I love traveling, great stories and new adventures. Outgoing and self-initiative person you can discuss deep things, share all your thoughts or go crazy with. I'm quite spontaneous, so if we get along well and you want khinkali in the middle of the night, most likely we'll end up in Georgia next morning. I'm a little bit crazy about Italian cuisine and would be happy to cook some pasta or bruschetta for you! Also I'm a craft beer geek, book-lover and cycleholic. Love music (especially English post-punk), conversations about politics or literature and making stupid jokes. I enjoy every minute of my life anywhere I go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My best travel experiences are when I meet people from different parts of the world and learn something new. Couchsurfing is a great way to do it. Sharing a place with locals makes me feel at home away from home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Literature: Romain Gary, Jonathan Safran Foer, John Ernst Steinbeck, Julio Cortázar
Movies: Coen Brothers, Martin Scorsese, Jim Jarmusch, Aki Kaurismäki, Quentin Tarantino
Music: punk-rock, post-punk, indie, noise-rock, lo-fi, hip-hop

I have an eclectic taste in movies and music, I tend towards being an entertainment snob, prefer both to have more artistic merit than popular appeal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a mountain with the altitude of 2000 meters and stayed there for 2 nights. It's unforgettable!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Russian swearing and how to drink a moonshine :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Can handle conversation about probably everything you like, share my travel stories and answer any question about mysterious Russian soul. Also I always bring a bottle of Russian craft beer for hosts. Let me know if you like getting magnets or any other stuff like that instead of beer (but I'll get very skeptical of you then).

Countries I’ve Visited

Armenia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Ukraine, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
