About Me

After living a vagabond life for more than 4 years I'm back to Germany and settling in Berlin.

I'd describe myself as an calm, cheerful, open-minded, sometimes talkative, sometimes melancholic and a curious person. I like being around positive people and like listening to people's stories. I'm a tidy, very clean and respectful person.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep moving for so long was the best way to discover new things; as such as finding new friends, learn about new cultures, myself and experience the beauty of our planet.
Friendliness and respectfulness open doors.
I believe in positive energy and sharing positive vibes with others helps to keep being positive..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

All started with a fantastic "first CS" experience in China. I stayed at Alex's place in Shaoxing for like a month. And we are still good friends.

I met lots of awesome people through CS who I'm still in touch with. It's a great platform to meet like-minded people tho I got quite passive user of this recently...

Interests

Love "not planed trough out" traveling.
Love music and going to concerts/live gigs.
Love art. Everything from contemporary, performance art to abstract stuff.
Love being with friends and doing whatever like playing games, hanging out with no purpose, watching movies, cooking etc...
I do cross country skiing, biking and all sorts of outdoor activities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Alternative, indie, jazz, blues, songwriters, electronic, sometimes metal.

To name some directors: Tarantino, Jim Jarmusch, Tim Burton, Coen brothers, Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, Wim Wenders, Ghibli studio movies and many others

As of books I'd read a classic novel by Kafka, Dostoevsky, Durrenmatt... getting more into reading currently

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many actually... to just name few

- 7 days Overland track in Tasmania was one of the most adventures experiences I've ever made

- While traveling in Vietnam on my old Honda Win motorbike I got seriously lost somewhere near the border of Cambodia no joke and the situation was kinda serious). Was hosted by 2 Vietnamese students. I spend 2 days to get back to pave roads with help from locals and police.

- One of my recent dope adventures was traveling and living in an old suv in Canada. I drove a 25000km loop across Canada in a period of 3 months.

Teach, Learn, Share

- teach German and Russian and for sure some English
- repair everything from furniture to electronics (or at least I'll try it)
- teach how to use your camera and some photography basics
- teach you basics on playing guitar and didgeridoo
- help with other things like moving, repair a bike, make you a breakfast
