ABOUT ME

I work as College Laboratory Technician at City University of New York. My job involves interfacing various biological devises with computers. It also involves a lot of planning, and planning ahead. Besides usual electronic setups with probes and sensors for students I plan and take students to field trips with other professors and teaching stuff where we teach them to use sensors and meters to do different probes of water and collect as well as analyze data of water in nearby salt marshes. I work a lot and hard and I enjoy it. I enjoy the fact that I am able to do all that I am doing. At my job I am forced to multitask and able to do several tasks at the same time. Work is an important part of my life. Here I would quote ancient Indian wisdom from Sanskrit: â

Love and Peace! I don’t believe in changing anything or anyone in this world, I try to take it as it is and live to the best. Neither I like people to change me, my character, the way I think, or who I am. The famous Japanese wisdom says: “If you want to change the world—change yourself” and that’s what I think is true, or at least feel that this is the way things should be. We are not to judge or to be judged! “Don’t judge and you won’t be judged.” (from Bible)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined this project because I think it is a very good idea. It brings people together. I love traveling, and meeting people. Since April, 2009 I was able to host over 10 people. I enjoyed it very much and hope to enjoy it further.

Interests

I am nature person. My interests include: Nature walks, Mushroom hunting, Collecting Wild Edibles, Meditating in nature, Site seeing, Biking, Playing Tennis. I like farming, composting. I don’t like waste, I recycle. I cook and bake. I like to learn different cuisines when I can. In future I’d like to have a little farm and grow my own food and cook it, can it, dry it, and prepare it every possible ways. I am into healthy, pure non chemical farming, organic, no pesticides, no genetically modified stuff. I am into natural foods, Food healing, healing, Herbs, and simply health. Among those interests I also like: History, Archeology, and Antiquity. I like to see Ancient ruins, sacred places. I enjoy tales, folk stories, ancient wisdom, knowledge, sayings, fairy tales, mysteries and enigmas of the world. I like to learn about people, modern, ancient and extinct cultures. I like to visit places. I like anything in genre of paranormal or unexplainable. I enjoy listening to “Kevin Smith Show”, where a lot of interesting topics in that genre are discussed. I also like Theology (religions), philosophy, as well as conspiracy theories.
