I am Vitek Jezek, 28 years old, I am from Prague, Czech Republic. Five years ago I have found company called manGoweb. And since them we are making web sites and web applications - see http://mangoweb.cz/en. Today we have around 30 people working fulltime in Prague, 1 fulltime in London, and we are working for quite big companies like Skoda; Starbucks and lots of others.

In Prague (and Czech Republic in general) we hadnt got any public Bikesharing system. So in 2013 I have found one - system called Rekola (see http://rekola.cz/en). Within few months our system was spread from Prague in anothers 5 cities across Czech Republic, and more cities are coming. Is like mobike or ofo, but better ; )

I am doing lots of another stuff - like Czech biggest web conference for more than 1500 people called WebExpo; education of young web talents called Junior Internet; flash mobs and urban games in Prague called Děsír; and so on and so on... I am afraid, that if I should describe all of my acitvities, this would be quite long ; ) But I think you have now the main idea about me.

Interests

- technology in general. Even I am tech guy, I think technology has same problem as first of our technology: fire. It is a good servant but a bad master. I am interested of impact of new tech gadges and where it could help us. “The future is already here — it's just not very evenly distributed.” ~William Gibson

- long distance cycling - once a year I travel for weeks. I have traveled from Prague to Paris; to Copenhagen or to Vienna; from Czech Republic to Istanbul.

- pushing and creating new things / activities / companies / startups. Changing world around me. Challenging status quo.

I am consumer of music, movies and books; so its for me really hard to pick up just few of them.
