I have lived in NY my whole life, particularly on Long Island and Queens . I'm a 3rd generation Italian American. Family is very important to me. One of my interests is sports, including the NY Yankees, NY Giants, NY Rangers & NY Knicks. I also enjoy watching soccer (football). I enjoy writing and photography, as well as kicking back and enjoying some drinks with good friends, and new friends. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I'm sort of addicted to travel. Recently I have traveled to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Iceland, Bergen, Thailand & Hawaii, along with some trips in the U.S. including Colorado and Utah. I believe in living your life and doing the things that make you happy now, no matter what others may think. I'm currently learning to speak Italian, with some lofty travel goals in 2017 in mind. I worked in Midtown Manhattan as a Business Analyst for the past 6+years, but that will all change in August 2017, when I leave my job to travel the world long term.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Starting in August, I will be travelling long-term with my best friend. About a year before leaving we both signed up for CS to meet some new and interesting people, and I've been blown away by the community. There are so many friendly people on CS, and I'm happy to say that I now have a great deal of friends from all around the world from attending meetups, as well as hosting surfers in my apartment in NYC. From my past travels and experiences, I've come to realize that travel is not just about the sites you see, but also about the people you meet. Meeting friendly people from all different parts of the world is extremely rewarding. I've enjoyed meeting Couchsurfers from around the world and I'm looking forward to Couchsurfing around the world in the future!
