Hey everyone, my name is Vitor, I´m a 26 year-old Brazilian currently based in Geneva. I am of Japanese, Portuguese, Indigenous Brazilian and Black origins, and very proud of this. I also share a strong interest in sharing different experiences and discuss points of views and common aspects concerning the world we live in. I am a PhD candidate in legal anthropology in Brazil, and I have been working with indigenous peoples traditional knowledge, intellectual property and access to medicines for some time now. I am also interested in traveling, philosophy, photography, contemporary art, political history, food, and yoga. Definitely a more progressive-inclined and open-minded kind of person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe this is a great way to get in touch and meet new interesting people who also have a strong personal and political commitment to the idea of sharing (cultures, experiences, lives, etc.). I believe these small encounters of people may bring more change to the world we live in than we usually think.
