About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see life from a different point of view

ABOUT ME

I'm one of the doers and also one of the dreamers. The thing is: I believe these two are unite. When I put my mind to do something, I do what I can to get it done, even if it seems almost impossible. And I enjoy people who are as open-minded as that. Currently, I'm trying to figure out a way I can make money while travelling the world, so a lot of my time is invested in that. I'm also trying to learn all practical abilities that would be useful or fun to have.

Another thing about me is that I'm open to meet new people, but I can't stand people saying "when I retire, I'll do it". You don't have to ask for anyone's permission to start living. Allow yourself to live an extraordinary life.

PHILOSOPHY

Experience exchanging is what make us move.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the CS community, but I hope I can attend to at least the weekly meetings in Belo Horizonte. I can't host surfers right now, because I live with my parents and they don't exactly allow it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had none until now. I was presented to CS some time ago, but not until now was I able to fill in my profile. I'm looking forward to being part of this community.

Interests

I'm interested in getting to know all kinds of new people and places, in living and enjoying every single moment. You can invite me to anything and I'll show up if I'm free.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of the bests movies I've seen are: The Dreamers, Into The Wild, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Inglorious Basterds, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Snatch, "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", Fight Club, The Edukators, Dead Poets Society.

Except from pagode, I pretty much like all tipes of music I know. From classic rock to brazilian funk, from samba to heavy metal. Here are some of the singers/bands: AC/DC, Los Hermanos, Cazuza, Johnny Cash, Maria Rita, White Stripes, Little Joy, Vinicius de Moraes, Chico Buarque, Maroon 5, Bonde da Stronda.

About books, which I really enjoy, I recently enjoyed reading these: On The Road by Jack Kerouac, O Encontro Marcado by Fernando Sabino, Factotum by Charles Bukowski, Olívio by Santiago Nazarian. I also like some poetry, I recently read Distraídos Venceremos by Paulo Leminksi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some years ago I went with my family on a trip all the way to the south of the country by motorhome and another one all the way to the northeast of the country. I got to know a lot of different cities, cultures and their people's accent. I gained some camping experience with this and I also learned to enjoy diversity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some experience in teaching english and can also teach portuguese.
