I'm a Brazilian Software Engineer working in Antwerp, Belgium for almost four years now. I started using Couchsurfing in 2014 when i was living in Ireland and wanted to save some money by not staying in hostel. But after a few experiences I've find out that is totally not about the money but the experiences! They were all so much better than my 'non couchsurfing' travelling experiences.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

You end up going to places that you would never go if you were there by yourself. Hosting people is also a great experience, you met people from all over the world with their different stories and you can get along with them.

Interesses

I like football, playing computer games (yes I am neerd), chess. I listen a lot of rock n roll, metal and it's different strands and try to go to concerts and festivals as much as I can. I also appreciate a good beer (great idea to move to Belgium, wasn't it) and I go to bars often with friends.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like to listen basically any kind of rock. There's a plenty of bands that i like, i can't mention a few ones. But after getting old i started to be more eclectic and started enjoying music that the young me would never did!

My favorite book of all time is "The Silmarillion" . I'm a big fan of Tolkien, Lord of the Rings and medieval fantasy in general, currently waiting for the sixth Game of Thrones book.

Series that i watch(ed) : Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad (best one ever), Better Call Saul, The Suits, Black Mirror, 13 Reason's Why, The Dark, Stranger Things, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Sherlock.
