About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Eat, drink, laugh, repeat.
ABOUT ME
I was born in São Paulo and raised in Curitiba, Brazil. 8 years ago I moved to Vancouver and I guess you can say I like this place just a little bit. ;)
I'ma full-time photographer as well as a 9-5ver at some office somewhere, so time is precious, but I do give priority to spending as much time with friends sharing IPA's, food, good music, coffee, or riding scooters to far away beaches.
I'm a joker, my humour is sarcastic, and I must admit some people just don't get it (I guess should work on that).
NOTE: You'll notice in the reference section that people refer to "Viv and Vitor." Last year Viv and I took a year long holiday and had a joint profile during that period, and although we remain good friends, we have gone our separate ways.
PHILOSOPHY
Eat, drink, repeat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I can only participate by hanging out with whoever would like some company in Vancouver. I hope in the near future I can host, but that will require me to find my own place, which I don't have at the moment. :P
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Last year I travelled for a year with my girlfriend at the time (Viv) and we had no idea what to expect. Almost a dozen experiences and a couple of CS parties later, I can say this is an amazing community! The best thing about it is every experience is as unique as the person you meet, and so far I've enjoyed every single one of them!
Interests
I never leave home without a camera. I love cooking and I'm not too shabby in the kitchen, although I could use some pro tips sometimes. I've become addicted to craft beer and the hoppier it is, the better. Also, I love mixing drinks and I have friends to vouch that I have quite a high success rate in creating new drinks.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like everything with Jeff Bridges and Sir Ian McKellen. I'm pretty sure if those two had a baby it would have superpowers. Also: Bob's Burgers, that show rocks.
I listen to all sorts of music, but what makes me tap my feet all day, every day would have to be: Cat Empire, Propagandhi, A Wilhelm Scream, and Strung Out.
Bill Bailey is hilarious, and if you haven't seen the lego version of Death Star Canteen by Eddie Izzard then you're missing out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv5iEK-IEzw
Oh yes, and I feel that Dylan Moran is the reason why people don't get my sarcasm. Damn you, Dylan Moran!
I admire a real variety of people. To name a few:
Jamie Oliver (for his brilliant work for improving children's health and education)
Malcolm Gladwell (he's just brilliant, nothing more to say)
Chris Hannah from Propagandhi (an amazing artist/activist that isn't afraid to stand up for anything or anyone. Plus they have the tightest, most groundbreaking music)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a mamma bird teach her baby bird to fly. That was cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've done the university thing, the bartender thing, the full-time retail thing, and even the starving artist/musician thing! The thing that I love the most though is to share stories and life lessons. We'll never be short of a conversation, be it geeky camera talk or deep conversations about life, I can't wait to hear what you have to say.
