About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to find a way of changing the world... easy, isn't it? Basically, I love to find other people with that spirit, that's one of my reasons for travelling

ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and the magic that is created among people who have just met and get along incredibly well. I love coincidences, and little details that are invisible for many people.
I could say I'm easy to get along with, I usually try to create a good atmosphere where I am.
My head is usually burning with new projects (some crazy; some funny; some impossible...) and I really put all my energy on them. At the moment, one of this projects is travelling around Oceanía.
And as a Piscis I am, I love arts, writing, playing music...

PHILOSOPHY

I live to be happy and to make the people around me happier. "while I'm going", I try to understand how the world works, and how people shape their lives, because I keep discovering new ways of being in this world...almost every day.
At the moment, I'm looking for a way of living that allows me to help people in a significant way.

My belief is that everyone is naturally happy. All of us try to find the way to happiness in correct or incorrect ways, but we are all looking for the same thing: to love and to be loved.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the moment, as a traveller, I bring the best of me and try to make it a good experience for my hosts too, helping out a little bit with the housework, being positive and having fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experiences began in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, in 2009. There I received at home an Italian that I had met in a party, Diego. Actually, I hosted him for about two weeks in total, and he began telling me all this story about a website where you can offer your couch to travellers and then go to people's houses, meeting incredible people at the same time... One year later, I was finally writing my CS profile.

From then on, I've been couchsurfing throughout Australia and New Zealand. Through Cs I've met most of the people in these countries that now I consider friends. Some of the experiences have been just amazing, the days going by in a slow motion where you're enjoying every second with people you met just days ago.
Although I know it means more "pressure" for the host, when several people surf simultaneously at a house, the atmosphere turns out to be just great, enormous, sometimes magic (also for the host). So I highly recomend it!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Demian, by Hermann Hesse
Rayuela, de Julio Cortázar.
Into the wild, by... Can't remember!

Music: I've played guitar for a long time, which I think, has shaped my musical taste.
I love songwriters such as Silvio Rodríguez (cuban), Luis Ramiro, Alisandro aristimuno, Joaquin Sabina, who sing in Spanish, as well as John Butler, Jack Johnson, Eric Clapton...
Regarding the bands, I like a wide range of rock and alternative music. Some examples: Radiohead, REM, Arquitecture in Helsinki, Tryo (France)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Cambodia, a little monkey looked for little animals in my hair
I have found and touched Nemo, in N. Caledonia!!
I have reached Porto city, in Portugal, by kayak...from Spain!!
I climbed a coconut tree to save my cat in New Caledonia!
I've played blues in a blues bar in Winnipeg, Canada!

Teach, Learn, Share

Playing guitar, percussion. I'd like to learn how to play harmonica.
Other than the music, I love to cook, and I find it's a very interesting exchange among hosts and guests in couchsurfing.
