ABOUT ME

I'm quite electric and energetic. When travelling I like to wake up early-ish (say 8AM) and do a lot of stuff throughout the day. I generally plan in advance and pack the day with an intense agenda of places to see.

I do like touristy places, but also enjoy getting in contact with locals and getting to know the real city, for example taking public transportation to move around instead of taxis, and visiting the intricacies of neighborhoods.

I will be willing to spend a little more with a meal at least once in each new city to get a feeling of the higher-end local cuisine. All my other meals will likely be street-food or snacks bought in the supermarket.

I favor natural wonders over man-made ones, and monuments over museums. But most of all, I favor any of those over staying at the hotel reading a book.

I strive to be flexible and accommodate different styles when travelling with other people, and will go a great length to make sure everyone is comfortable with the plan. In return, I like people that are very straightforward and speak their minds.
