About Me

Hi there!

I am a brazilian guy living in Germany since 2011. I am (almost) married with Steff, my local beauty, and we have two lovely litte kids. Luana and Matteo (4 and 1). I am currently working as a Social Worker and having a really interesting time with integration of young refugees. My original qualifications are as Psychologist so I can help for sure listening your problems, no worries! :DD. I also manage to have a band (really, with two kids! They are actually really nice with me, when I even forgot the name of the songs we should be playing!), and we do a lot of concerts (around 2 in a year, lol). I like to cook nice food and to enjoy good time with people at our garden.

Before living in Germany I had 2 nice and adventurous years in Australia and New Zealand, where I studied a bit of music and a lot of bohemy! I can speak good (enough) English, even though I lost most of my Aussie accent.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, im quite a long time here and never managed to finish my account ;DD. Now im doing it.

Nowadays I would speak as 'we'. We are a nice family interested on meeting nice people around the nearby countries here, specially other families with small kids (under 6). We want to discover places and people, play some music.

We live in a really nice place in a small village close to Marburg and can offer a giant a fluffy sofa for a couple for one or two nights, in the Kids room there is a bed free, with some diplomacy my daughter would let even 2 kids share the bigger bed :D

Interests

As I said before, I love to play music and keen of jamming, improvising. To prepare some nice food, drink a good beer with friends, play with the kids around. I used to like to play some Soccer, but my back are not in the best conditions nowadays. Like to drive a Bicycle and discover new places. To chill in a nice spot. Have deep conversations about live and spirituality...or just about how the last soccer game was.

Music, Movies, and Books

All the good music, I mean GOOD, made with the heart. There is a great genious in every music style, or maybe ALMOST all of them.

I haven´t been seen much movies nowadays, don´t know exactly why... I love Waking Life and watched it several times. I am easily annoyed with the standard american action movies and usually can predict the rest of the movie after watching 5 minutes of it. It will be a car chase, the good guy kill the bad one and kiss the girl. End titles.

Books...I use to read it before I have kids, or before i have a laptop, not so sure :D. My favourite is The unbearable Lightness of Being. I´ve read it like 5 our 6 times, I never read another book even twice. Try it! I promise it is really nice

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I invited a amazing woman to move into my room in Sydney and since there just amazing things happenned to me. Some were amazingly hard too, like hey! I´ve learned German. Quite well... Isn´t that amazing?

I´ve made 2 amazing kids and the luck brought me to live in this amazing place.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you one thing: cool with Ginger. if you do it in the right way, you´ll have changed your life. I mean it!

Just kidding. Well Im keen to teach the little things I now. In Sydney I used to be a Guitar and Piano teacher. I can do nice Paper Boats too, draw nice Cat figures for my daughter and do the world famous brazilian cheese balls.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Nice moments. I don´t know what should I write here. I wouldn´t share neither my woman or my tootbrush, except of that Ill like to make my guest feeling at home and confortable. Yeah Yeah, we have also WLAN :)
