About Me

I'm a Brazilian guy that lives in Texas, USA, and also a civil engineering student at Brigham Young University - Idaho. I'm mormon so if I have the pleasure of being hosted by you, you will probably see me all dressed up for church on Sunday as shown in my profile picture. I'm planning on going on a world round trip, so if you want you can join me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because I like to witness the goodness in people from different backgrounds throughout the world, and because I believe that everyone is good till the prove me wrong. I also believe that couchsurfing is the best way to make long lasting friendships while exchanging accommodation and good laughs.

Interests

As most of the Brazilians I love soccer and a good beach where I can relax and watch the sunset. I've been studying classical piano since I was 12 so that's something of my interest. I'm a salsa and bachata lover, so if you are a girl we will probably dance till one of us pass out. If you are a guy there isn't much I can do about it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything, specially salsa and bachata. My favorite movie ever is BOPE (that Brazilian movie that represents some of the real struggle faced by many citizens in Brazil), I guess. As a student I don't have much time to read books other than college textbooks but I'm currently reading The Wolf of Walls Street.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I served as a missionary for the LDS church for two years in Bahia, Brazil.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and music. I'm learning Spanish at college and I'm open to learn whatever you wanna teach me. I can share some of my cooking skills that is basically the traditional Brazilian cuisine (rice, beans, and a very tasty meat).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll buy you pizza.
