About Me

I have been traveling around the world since my early days and meeting different people, places and cultures is one of the things I like the most.
Nowadays I split my time between my clinical psychology and academic research job and volunteer job at www.bikeanjo.org ; a Non profit organization that works mainly with urban mobility throught education, susteinability and human rights programs.
I am a very simple person and I dont need much to live well. What I really appreciate is sharing life stories and hearing about travel adventures, as well making dinner together and trading recipes.
I have travelled around Europe, Middle east and Asia but mainly in south america and I know a lot about Brazilian cuisine, I could teach how to make it and devour it! Five of the most amazing places I've been are:
1 hot natural bathtubs at alpes snowpeaks (cajon del maipo-Chile);
2 Perfect climate, charming people, sapphire blue sky and emerald green sea at beach cliffs (praia da pipa-Brazil)
3 São Paulo an impossible combination of everything! from rushy urban landscapes to peaceful beaches or mountains refugees in 1hour distance, from luxury stores to crowded slums, haute cuisine to street food..(delicious) all mixed and blended with a pool of intercultural colonisation in a very brazilian way.
I read a lot... most of the time, academic articles and psychology and phylosophy related stuff, even when I'm relaxing! somehow this relax me... Love ethnic music and I'm a ballroom dancer since 2000, specially interested in brazilian rythms like forró and samba and latin rythms like salsa and tango.
I have a list of cult movies to see and thats what I do between my tries to play guitar...Im as horrible as persistent...
4 Marmaris, Turkey... incredible aegian sea and friendly people, perfect climate good food.
5 Penang, Malaysia... street art, street food, multi-ethnic and lots of religion fusion
My home have always been welcoming, its a part of brazilian culture and a special value in my familiy. My early reminds of childhood is about a house full of loved ones, family and friends.
Thats the only thing I truly have and bring with me all the times,
Thats what I have to share...
Thats why I am here...
Hope we meet soon, and after...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was a child I loved santa claus because he knew the home, the names and the cultural habits of all people of the world...I thought he was something like the god of the gifts, he could give gifts without spending money and deliver christmas presents very fast to every children in the world in one day.
I spent a lot of time thinking about how the homes of other peoples in other countries looked like... how they behave... I wanted to know everyones homes like santa claus.
When I grew up I noticed it was impossible.. Although the love for traveling and meeting new people never left me... that's why I am here.
