The first thing I thought when a friend told me about CS was..."It's revolutionary!!!!" And it was surfers...it was!!! With mine flatmate ( https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/simone-napolitano-1 !! You can read more references ) and alone I ve hosted many people and the philosophy inherent in CS about live your journey as a local it's incredible!! And a sort of thing that we did in our years of university...but how about the chance to improve your English or take the first step with the Spanish as I did!???!? So for me CS it's an incredible way to improve travel experiences and to KNOW (things that I always loved since I was child) LET's KNOW MATEEEES!!!
