About Me

Hi!

My name is Vitto and I’m currently employed as a cardiac-surgeon in Genova, Italy. That is the first thing you want to know and the first one to forget as well.
Luckily enough, I also do a great bunch of other totally unrelated things: I am a contemporary artist involved in Photography and Human Rights, a sailing and skiing instructor and a passionate traveler.

Oh, I must also say that I live on board my beautiful (at least for me) sailing boat right in front of Genova downtown! You’re welcome onboard :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I moved to Genova not long ago, and unfortunately I spend a lot of time at work.
Furthermore, during the past year and for the next two, I have very little time for travelling.
For these reasons, I’m enthusiastic about the idea of hosting travellers onboard: to meet people and to let my mind travel through their journeys.

Interests

Sailing, Skiing, Contemporary Art, Entrepreneurship.
I’d state also music, but I’m no expert; I listen to literally everything!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: everything, literally.
Movies: As good as it gets; Jeux d’enfants; City of God; The Millionare and many many more
Books: Stoner (the last that I’ve truly loved)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought a sailing boat and decided to live in it?

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I love to do all these things so let’s give it a try!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, I guess I can share all the things I’m in love with.
My home, which is my sailing boat (if you’re lucky enough and the weather is sunny, we can definitely go for a sailing ride in some beautiful hidden spots in the coast).
My passion for Italian food: I’m no great cook, but have a few hidden recipes that never upset.
Sunset, music, movies and all that cool stuff that everyone knows but never gets old.

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Indonesia, Israel, Mongolia, Morocco, New Zealand, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, France, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal
