ABOUT ME

Bubbly Italian - English 22 year old. I am quite lazy at times, but active as well when need be. Especially when I have to do something that Interests me :-)
I am generally outgoing and love to meet new people, that's one of the many reasons why I love to discover new places and cultures. I like to joke and have fun, I really think life is best when lived with a smile on your face. At the moment I am travelling South America with two of my friends, and I am very excited to see what adventures we will experience on the way!

PHILOSOPHY

I personally am a fan of freedom and think that everyone should be free to do what they desire, as long as it doesn't interfere with someone else's freedom. I believe that all over the world, there are people with the fundamental need for the company of friends and for good, quality time with those who they love; and that these things are the ones that bring us together the most.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the momen I am travelling South America with two of my friends, so I will be mainly participating to events and looking to be hosted. However, after 9 months (On June 2014) I will be moving back to England, therefore I will be thrilled to host people in my new London Home :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience so far has been very positive, CS is a fundamental tool for the traveller as it gives you not only the possibility to see the true way of living of the place you travel, but it makes you meet some incredible people. I reccomend it to everyone that is travelling, both long and short term.
It really positively surprised me to see how giving people can be, without asking for anything in exchange. Proves how humanity is great :)

Interests

I love music, Friends, Good Times, Videogames, cards, and everything involving fun. I am a big fan of nights out, and also enjoy greatly lazing out with friends on a hot afternoon, even while just having a chat.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an avid music listener and enjoy a very vast spectrum of genres. It varies all the way from Metal to Drum and Bass, going by Jazz and Blues. I am not a great fan of Pop althought there are songs to which I will listen to.
I am a huge Cinema fan and enjoy good movies. Among my favourite directors there are Quentin Tarantino, Akira Kurosawa, Sergio Leone and Stanley Kubrick. Occasionally I also enjoy the more popular, easy-going movies, mostly on a Sunday, when I don't want to use too much brain power :D
I read books mostly when I'm travelling, I enjoy generally any good book that I can put my hands on, the last book I have recently read is the famous "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess, and personally think is genious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling on a boat on the Amazon river for 8 days, Visiting tha amazing Uyuni Desert! Will remember it for the rest of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a decent guitar player and could teach a beginner a thing or two about it. I am also a psychology graduate, so I wouldn't mind have a chat about it. I have a life-long passion for games (both video and non-video), therefore I greatly enjoy talking about them. I have also made electronic music and recorded music before, so I know a little bit about music production and greatly enjoy sharing my knowledge about it, as well as learning about it. I could spend a whole day working on a drum and bass track without getting bored :)
