About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience the beauty of our fine, fine planet

ABOUT ME

I am an educator dedicated to building bridges through my work as Director of Global Routes (www.globalroutes.org) and building demand for healthy foods through my work as a co-founder of The Cookbook Project (www.thecookbookproject.org).

I LOVE living in the present moment, and experiencing that tickling feeling when you realize that what we all share is so much more significant than the tiny tiny things that make us all wonderfully different.

I love to work with youth of all ages, practice yoga, sit silently, hike, bike, kayak, climb, swim or do anything outdoors. I love to eat, and sleep, and smile and laugh and explore the many many many levels of existence. And travel...

I have been fortunate enough to have travelled all over Latin America, Asia, the Caribbean, and Europe and bit of Africa I feel so fortunate to have met so many inspiring beings along the way...

PHILOSOPHY

'The people are the places...'

"Its nice being nice" -Max's Dad

hmmmm...a quote that really encompasses the beauty of travel, and not just travel travel but the whole journey of existence... from a Sufi Fable "Do not imagine that the journey is short; and one must have the heart of a lion to follow this unusual road, for it is very long...one plods along in a state of amazement, sometimes smiling, sometimes weeping."
