About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet people, see stuff that is not a tourist trap. Chill and relax. Chillax as the kids say.

ABOUT ME

I forgot I was signed up for CS for like 2 months, sorry everyone I didn't respond to! (Both of you!)

I am a laid back student of Germanic Linguistics and I have a sick need to compulsively travel. I am doing a 1 year bid at Ruprecht-Karls Universität in Heidelberg.

I have been described as "stunningly handsome" and "the next great hope for a generation". You best believe that homeless dude got some change.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it was the Buddha who said, "Try not to be an ass."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a pretty small studio in a Studentenwohnheim, but if you don't mind crashing on a pad on the floor with a sleeping bag I can share some of my meager food, and less meager beer. Beats sleeping rough I suppose. Also I have a tiny cube of a shower. When money allows it I will get a couch I swear.

There's not exactly a ton of stuff to do in Heidelberg, but if you show up I'm sure I can find something fun to do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is my first time be gentle.

Interests

I read quite a bit and I am obsessed with music of all kinds. Also language and linguistics fits in to my life quite a bit. But I'm interested in all sorts of stuff I suppose.

  • dining
  • beer
  • trivia
  • traveling
  • socializing
  • music

Music, Movies, and Books

I will literally read anything, although I'm pretty heavy on history books. I will probably try and pass books off on you if you stay here. They can't come home with me ;__;

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going off the beaten path in Yosemite got pretty insane around the time I ended up beneath a waterfall.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can teach you all sorts of esoteric trivia. Or some German if you'd like. If someone wanted to teach me how to sew better I would not be disinclined to learn.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Denmark, France, Hungary, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
