I have big plans and dreams for my life, seriously, you should take a look at my bucket-list, it's very impressing ;) I already crossed a lot off, so that makes me very happy

I was an Au Pair in the US from 2013-2014, it was a very interesting experience and taught me a lot about myself. Since then I'm stuyding (Oceanographie) and I work at a movie theater (that only shows english movies in original versions, yay!)

There are a lot of things I could write here, but I always feel weird, it's like when you're in a job-interview and someone asks you "tell me something about yourself" and you're like ...ehm...

I'm a very creative person. I draw and paint a lot, I write, I can sew pretty well and I sometimes make my own jewellery.
I'm also really handy with technical stuff, I fix most things myself, before I even consider getting help

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling, like ~really~ like travelling.
I made my first couchsurfing experience with a friend in Chicago and I was just a tiny little bit sceptical ;)
But honestly, couchsurfing is just the best way to meet new people, make new friends, actually see and experience a city the way it's supposed to be experienced.

I'm always making sure that my hosts know how much I/we appreciate his generousity, so I always bring a gift, I don't take food from the fridge (unless we are told to) and I cook (really well) for my hosts :)

I have tattoos, I hope no one is bothered by that (they're "hidden" so it shouldn't be a problem)
I love all kinds of animals, they usually love me back, at least I'll try to convince them with excessive attention :D

Music, Movies, and Books

music:
U2 is my all-time favourite band, though they haven't really done anything great lately... Awolnation, Aerosmith, Ed Sheeran, Joe Cocker, Skrillex (sometimes...) Puscifer
I'm a big fan of classic rock (BTO, CCR, Dire Straits,...), blues rock (ZZ TOP,...) and pretty much everything else rock. I do enjoy pop music, scores, soundtracks, pretty much everything except Country and Hip Hop/Rap

Movies (this is going to be very difficult, as I watch a lot of movies):
Lord of the Rings is my all-time favourite movie (trilogie), Harry Potter, pretty much every Marvel movie.
Action movies, from classics like Point Break, Face/Off, Speed to movies like Expendables, the dark Knight trilogie, Inception...
I do enjoy pretty much every genre, except war movies and most westerns...

Books:
Harry Potter! I read the HP books at least twice a year. Everything Tolkien, especially the Hobbit and Silmarillion.
Crime books, I love Cody McFadyen, Kathrin Slaughter, Jillian Hoffman.
Action and adventure like Matthew Reilly.
Also enjoy a lot of other books, I can't list all of them though ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving. U2-concert on my 15th birthday. Bahamas-cruise. a whole month of travelling with my sister.
