Hello fellow Couchsurfer! I am Vivaswan Damle, a finance student, a gamer, a sportsperson, a Toastmaster, Yes Theory Fam, Discomfort Seeker. Been living a blessed life for the past 24 years. Looking to widen my scope of thinking and beliefs. Want to get to know more people and their stories. A hard core athiest non vegetarian who is now turning into an agnostic person who is starting to maybe slightly believe in spirituality and yoga and benefits of vegetarianism. Will be attending a Vipassana session in November which might help me understand myself more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A hotel doesnt have the emotion that staying with someone has. A hotel gives you a place to stay for a price. CS gives you an experience and a chance to meet new people. In a transitional phase in life where I am moving from student life to a professional life and splurging on luxuries isnt really a priority. Splurging on experiences is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once hitch hiked from Pune to Kolhapur when I was 17. Not really a very amazing thing for a few of the Couch Surfers maybe. But for the shy kid leaving from home without money and travelling 250 kms to a different city was still a task.
