Overview
About Me
Hello! I’m Vivek, an adventurous soul who wants to explore the world, understand diverse cultures and meet new people. I thrive on trekking through nature’s beauty and capturing moments through photography. Currently, I live in Bengaluru, India’s Silicon Valley, but my roots trace back to the small city of Ankleshwar, where I developed a love for simplicity and community.
As a tech enthusiast and computer freak, I’m always excited about the latest in technology, but I balance that with my interests in travel, reading and meditation. People often describe me as friendly, calm and easygoing, and I take pride in being a reliable friend who’s always ready to lend a hand or offer advice on financial planning and travel itineraries.
I deeply believe in the vision of spreading education and sharing knowledge. I’ve been mentoring others learn Cloud & DevOps skills for a couple of years, and I’m looking forward to meeting native speakers to further improve my English-speaking skills. I also have a love for physical activities, like working out, playing sports, trekking and even gardening on weekends when I need a bit of relaxation.
I’m genuinely excited about the opportunity to contribute, learn and create unforgettable memories with people from all walks of life on Workaway. Looking forward to new adventures, meaningful exchanges and learning from the communities I visit!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had was my solo trip to Spiti Valley. Nestled in the Himalayas, the valley’s rugged beauty and remote serenity left me in awe. Traveling solo allowed me to truly connect with nature and immerse myself in the untouched landscapes, snow-capped peaks and ancient monasteries. From navigating treacherous roads to engaging with the warm and resilient locals, every moment was a lesson in endurance and self-discovery. It was a humbling journey that deepened my love for adventure and exploration, and it remains one of the most transformative experiences of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and currently work as a DevOps Engineer. I’m fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati, and I’d be more than happy to teach Hindi or Gujarati to anyone interested in learning.
I’m skilled in management and leadership, having established two clubs from scratch during my university years. Leading a team of students, we successfully organized workshops and seminars to help others learn about various technologies and become job-ready. This experience has given me strong organizational and mentoring skills.
In addition to my professional expertise, I have a passion for nature photography and can share my knowledge with others interested in learning this skill. I’m also experienced in creating social media posters and designs.
Beyond my technical and creative abilities, I’m often sought after for financial advice and helping friends and family plan their travel itineraries. I enjoy sharing my knowledge, learning from others and embracing new experiences
