ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty adventurous and fun loving guy. I'm a musician, a climber, and a surfer (in no particular order). When time and circumstance permit, I like to discover as much about this Earth as possible. Currently, I'm gearing up for my first ever trip through Europe as a graduation present to myself. My goal is to immerse myself in the culture of every location as much as possible, and what better way to do so than to board up with some locals??

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I created this account a few years ago with the hopes of using it to make my way around the world knowing I have a safe and reliable place to crash along the way. It's taken a little while, but I've finally made that dream a reality.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in Copenhagen and in Bordeaux, and had wonderful experiences both times. The hosts were great, and really helped get a feel for each of their cities.

Interests

Music (I've been drumming for about 11 years now, and I can hold my own on a guitar or piano), I've been climbing for a year or so now and have fallen madly in love with it, surfing, hiking, basketball... anything outdoorsy in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

I go anywhere from hip hop to jazz to prog rock/metal to classical. I have a deep appreciation for most every genre of music, being trained as a musician from a young age.

As far as movies go, Fight Club, Birdman, Inception, anything Disney, Saving Private Ryan, I'm pretty scattered here as well haha.

Book: Murakami has become my favorite author as of late, anything of his really. Tom Robbins puts out some great reads as well. Patrick Rothfuss, of course the Harry Potter series, some Stephen King, Chuck Palahniuk, etc.
