ABOUT ME

I am from the city of Victoria, on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. It is wet and wild place, great for someone with an adventurous spirit. I have recently graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a minor in Environmental Studies, and am currently pursuing a career in the green building industry.

I've been fortunate to have been able to travel a good bit over the last few years, and appreciate all I have learned from those adventures. Couch Surfing has always been an invaluable asset in creating a meaningful experience abroad.

My most recent experience with couch surfing was during a surf/climbing trip last year to south america. Prior to that I spent a few months riding my bicycle down the West Coast of the USA and stayed with some awesome folks.

Interests

I love to be outdoors and have a passion for camping and surfing along the wild coastline of Vancouver Island. I like to eat and live as healthy as possible, and consider my self a fairly laid-back, relaxed person. I also like to read, do wood-working projects, listen to live music and dance, I paint on the odd occasion. I like rock-climbing, kayaking, exploring, and I love growing food in my backyard. Oh ya, spending time with friends and family is pretty darn nice as well.

I love funk, rock, hip-hop, soul, blue-grass, reggae. Anything creative and different, depends on my mood.
