About Me

I would like to think of myself as someone who would say "try everything at least once" :)

I was born in Vietnam, grew up in there and in the US. I've done my college exchange in South Korea. I am now a master student in Germany. And I'll be living in Marseille for six months starting October 2018.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have met the most interesting people on Couchsurfing, and I want to live large on a small budget. Couchsurfing is such an awesome community that lets people travel on a budget, meet other people who are like-minded and have similar interests, while at the same time maintains diversity and a niche for anyone who is willing to look. I expect the best from Couchsurfing people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've watched La Traviata in three different continents (the Americas, Europe, and Asia - S. Korea)
I've never paid for lodging when in Europe

Teach, Learn, Share

“Life is both sad and solemn. We are led into a wonderful world, we meet one another here, greet each other - and wander together for a brief moment. Then we lose each other and disappear as suddenly and unreasonably as we arrived.”
― Jostein Gaarder, Sophie's World

Therefore, it is always a privilege for me to meet and love people. Out of 7 billion people on this planet, somehow we meet and share a wonderful brief moment together. We have won the lotteries of the universe. Be kind and gentle to others :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good traveling stories and good traveling tips for places I have been to, especially in the US, South Korea, and Vietnam (I lived in those countries the longest)
Good food. I am a really good cook when it comes to Korean food. I am mostly a vegan and do really awesome vegan baking. I love looking up vegan pastries recipes, try out, and be so pleasantly surprised when they taste so good and light. However, when I travel I keep my options open and am willing to try new/odd foods.
We can do anything outdoor together! I love it!
