Since I love to visit new places, my husband and I bought a time share 15 years ago and visit time shares all over the U.S. Last year I decided to expand my horizons and go back to school to obtain my Masters degree. Since 3 of my 4 children are out on their own, there was nothing to hold be back. I've had a number of jobs including selling Avon, lingerie, detailing cars, PR manager and working for the Census in 2000 and 2010. I'm passionate about photography and can spend hours taking photos of everything from landscapes to hot air balloons.

I love Albuquerque. I used to work for the tourism bureau and I'd give advice on places to visit here in this beautiful town. I would like to show people around or meet up with them and tell them about those special places in Albuquerque that many people may not know about. I recently visited Europe and loved the experience so I thought "hmm couch surfing, sounds interesting."

I'm inspired by the classics. Among my favorites: Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre and Romeo and Juliet. I also enjoy motivational books and suspenseful movies. I think it's great to have a good cry with a chic flick every now and then also. (While sipping on a glass of wine.)

I went to Europe for the first time this summer. Prague was amazing and I fell in love with Munich and Paris. I ventured out into the town all by myself and managed to find my way back to the hotel. Pretty good for an old gal. But the craziest thing I tried was eating Steak tartar. Wish someone had told me what it was before I ordered it. Didn't have the heart to tell the waitress to take it back and cook it. hahaha So I ate it. And you know what? It was alright.
