About Me
I am currently an elementary school teacher in Gongju, South Korea!
I taught university students in Ningbo, China from 2017-2018.
I can speak English (fluent), Chinese (advanced), Vietnamese (intermediate), and Korean (basic)! I hope we can be good friends~ ღ˘⌣˘ღ
I am a Vietnamese-Chinese American. I was born and raised in California, and did my university schooling in Salt Lake City. I studied abroad in Taiwan (台大) my second year of college, and I was working at the University of Nottingham Ningbo teaching English.
My mom’s family is originally Hakka (廣東客家) and they helped set up a Hakka Chinese community in Saidec, Vietnam before the war. Most of my family members currently live in the US, and I have two sisters whom I love very much.
I an independent solo traveler, and I love traveling to learn more about the world and expand my outlook on life. I want to CS so I can gain a more authentic travel experience as well as learn from the people whose homes I am staying in. I would also love to have deep and meaningful conversations with the people who’d like to listen. Hope we can all become great friends soon!
