Hi, I’m a solo traveler from Indonesia.
I’m someone who thrives on freedom — of movement, of spirit, and of thought. My journey as a solo traveler started in 2019 when I flew to Hong Kong with a round-trip ticket I booked on a whim. That trip changed everything. I was nervous, unprepared, and even made a few rookie mistakes (like bringing a giant suitcase and ending up in an all-male dorm by accident!). But it also opened my mind, connected me with people from all walks of life, and helped me overcome the fear of doing things alone.

I love being surrounded by nature, mountains, lakes, sunsets, trees, beaches, wide open skies.

For a long time, I kept my dreams to myself. I was afraid to hope too much, so I set low expectations and rarely said my wishes out loud. But something shifted during my recent trip to Europe. The mountains, lakes, skies, and quiet paths made me feel safe enough to speak. And now I believe more than ever that the universe listens and gently leads the way.

At home, I have a 3 y.o white cat named Ruyi (如意) which means “as wishes”

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is more than checking off places, it’s about connection. The most meaningful memories I carry aren’t just from the views I’ve seen, but from the people I’ve met along the way.

I love learning about how others live, think, and dream. Staying with locals or meeting fellow travelers helps me see the world through new eyes.
