About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel Ireland Couchsurfing Style!

ABOUT ME

I tend to be on the more quiet side upon meeting new people. I am pretty easy going. I am a really curious person. I sometimes tend to ask a lot of questions. I have a bad habit of over thinking things and daydreaming. I am easily distracted by... well, almost anything, plus my mind tends to wander. All in all I think I think I am a bundle of contradictions, thus I "try" (being the key word) to find as much balance as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Being too practical and planning too much is bad.
Being too flaky and impulsive is also bad.
So the best thing is to be impulsive, but have a backup plan.

"The one who does not think he is lacking in anything certainly does not desire what he does not think he lacks" (Socrates, Symposium 23)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just started surfing. I joined some groups and I have been to one CS meeting in Berlin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two words.
Bearpit.
Karaoke.

Interests

Manga. Sleeping. Reading. Eating. Traveling. Chocolate. Books. Writing. Drawing. Art. Walking around the city, blending in with the crowds of people bustling from one place to another in a rush. Hanging out with friends and family. Libraries. Music. Singing. I want to learn how to cook, so that I won't starve or burn the house down. I want to learn how to play the piano, snowboard, ski, surf, dance, etc. List of interests? Very long.

Movies:
I can't really think of anything specific right about now, except for "Going By the Book" (Korean), which was hilarious. Last movies watched: Invention of Lying (funny), Public Enemies (good), Paper Hearts (awkward funny to the point of cringing).
(N.B. It's been a while since I have got around to going to the movies, sooooo everything I have watched is outdated. Movies-to-watch list is very, very long.)
Update:
Inception. (It was really good!)
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (AWESOME).
The Other Guys (It was ok, could have been better).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In a rural village is where I saw a clear night sky dark and silky with a scatter of white stars around a blood red moon over wet rice fields with hundreds of dragonflies dancing above.

Saw JET in concert. They were amazing.
Saw Damien Rice in concert. He was awesome!
