About Me

Hey!

A little about myself...

I have a university degree in Educational Sciences. Have worked at universities here in Buenos Aires for more than 10 years...
Until last year (2015), when I went roadtripping with my boyfriend/husband, Flavio Forti.
(He is the best... the most funny, interesting, brillant guy... just awesome! We have so much fun together! Check his profile! And we have the most amazing love story... We can tell you all about it when we meet ;))

We quit jobs in Buenos Aires, left our home and our stuff (and beloved cat), and went travelling arround Argentina in a motorhome.
It wasn't just vacations: we worked as we travel... It was just our life...

I found a new way of living, so different than what I was used to... It made me think about priorities in life, and forced me out of my confort zone...
Living in a (small) van is amazing, despite what people might think.
It's my place in the world!
We kept saying: having a bathroom less than 100 m away... is just luxury ;)

Then we went on an amazing 3-month-trip around Europe, couchsurfing... We could visit my family in Norway and Flavio's family in Italy... and lots of friends in different countries.

(Take a look: https://nosvamosdevida.wordpress.com)

Now we're back in Buenos Aires, settling down a bit... but still dreaming about our next trip...

I'm a Spanish teacher now! This is my website, in case you wanna take a look... www.learnba.com.ar

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While our lives were on the road (in Argentina), we met some couchsurfers who were the best. I loved their lifestyle... and wanted to join them!
We didn't need a couch (we had our van to sleep in), but we desperatly needed a shower! They were so kind offering us theirs, and we also could do some laundry there... Just what we needed!!
I loved the idea of sharing your home, or if you're travelling, your experiences, you points of view...
In fact, we hosted two people in our van (we have an extra bed)! That's not the easiest thing, because we really don't have much space. But it was fun!!

Then, in Europe, really cool people hosted us.

Now that we are back in Buenos Aires, we definitely wanna give all that back... and meet cool people form around the world!
