Overview
About Me
I've lived in The Netherlands for three years, together with my partner. I am passionate about sustainability, alternative life forms, nutrition, barefoot shoes, hiking and forests. I like to be critical and walk around with open eyes. I love to be around people who don't take life too seriously, who like to make jokes and laugh. I appreciate different cultures.
I love to host and meet different people from all over the world. I've made some really amazing friends this way.
I am a flexible host and I don't mind whether you want to spend time with me or not. Maybe you have come for a workshop and are really busy, that is fine. If you have time and I do too then I'd love to show you around.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I value alternative forms of consuming and consider couchsurfing one of them
PLEASE: to all men who randomly send me messages unconnected to hosting requests: CS is not Tinder and I am not going to respond. It annoys me to get such messages so please consider to talk to a local person and not send random people you don't know a random message on CS

Music, Movies, and Books
My choice of music really depends on my mood and reason to listen. When I study, I listen to classical music, when I clean I listen to some roadtrip songs, when I go out then to a jazz cafe. I also like laid back techno and hous, funk, ska...Never the charts though.
I am a huuuge Terry Pratchett fan, but there are so many amazing books out there like The Painted Bird, The Master and Margarita, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, To Kill a Mockingbird, Of Mice and Men...
Currently I am exploring films by directors like Kubrick, Bergmann, Lynch, Fellini, Scorsese, Fassbender...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering in a reforestation project in the Swiss mountains; being a foster mother for dogs; quitting my study in Mainz to move to The Netherlands with a guy I had met six months before and not having looked back since.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the violin; to cook with unprocessed food; I can teach you different ways to look at and experience cities
What I Can Share with Hosts
music, cooking, laughing
