Pretty chilled out!

PHILOSOPHY

There's a movie called Jeff, lives at home. It's about a 30 year old guy who lives with his mum and tries to find meaning for every single sign that the universe sends to him. I'm not that paranoid, but i try to understand what the universe tells me, this way I think I can accept better some situations that I have to go through without so much pain. I try to see always the positive side of situations and people. This is my philosophy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't really enjoy traveling as a "tourist". I always prefer to use public transportation, eat local food and hang out with the locals. For me this is the way to get to know a new place.

Interests

Qigong (Self Healing), Tai Chi, Meditation, Chinese Kickboxing, running (my favorite meditation), Capoeira, dancing, painting, Chinese Medicine, herbs... enough! I don't think I can finish this list..

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I'm a heavy metal fan! My favorite band when I was 15 was Iron Maiden. Love Skid Row, Gun's, all those amazing bands from the 80's and 90's. Electronic music, reggae, good Brazilian music like Legião Urbana, Marisa Monte, Gilberto Gil and so on. I can bear pop music if I am in a party or clubbing (that doesn't happen often :) but i wouldn't hear pop music at home. I love getting to know new songs and bands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studied Kung Fu full-time for an entire year in China in the middle of nowhere right next to the mountains with the monks. Just like in movies :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm quite healthy and western medicine free. I'm very into alternative medicine and nutrition. Love working out and I never stop. Can really motivate lazy hosts to move their bodies =)
