Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was told about Couchsurfers before I left Australia to travel through Europe, so I have no house at the moment! My travel partner and I use Couchsurfing as a way to expand our knowledge of the places we visit through the people we meet. I'm sorry if our requests come a few days before, but that is the nature of our travelling, no plans, dancing and exploring! Once I settle in the world, I will be able to provide a couch of my own!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: 80s/90s action movies, Studio Ghibli films, The Breakfast Club, Run Lola Run, Pan's Labyrinth and Aladdin.

Music: Everything! I've found the best way to meet people on my travels is to talk about music. I love watching live music, being around people who make music, and that moment when you have had a few drinks and you hear a song and everyone can enjoy it and starts dancing.

Books: Once again, anything (I used to work in a library)! Favorites include: THE BRIEF WONDROUS LIFE OF OSCAR WAO, The God of Small Things, Howl, Harry Potter, Ariel, Equus, The Walking Dead and Heart of Darkness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiked in Australia, Learned French in New Caledonia, Travelled through the Rocky Mountains in Canada, Swimming in the Great Barrier Reef, Campfires in outback Australia.
