ABOUT ME
Professionally:
I am an urban planner and placemaker. I believe in the magic of public spaces to connect and have a great quality of life. So tell me anything about the city's history and arquitecture. I would love to learn.

I currently live in the Netherlands, I study a PhD on Urban Planning focused on how to make great cities for children.
I also have my own urban planning office called "Huasipichanga" (which is the word we use in Ecuador for the celebration we make when we inaugurate a house that normally is built by a whole community). Huasipichanga focuses on working on creating playful and livable cities through co-creation.

Personally:
I am an easy-going person, I am keen to learn from every person every day and I love to share stories and experiences. I normally laugh a lot and I love to eat and dance.
I love long conversations, coffee, food, beers, swimming, and traveling.
As a surfer, I love when the host wants to hang out, go somewhere together and show me something of the city that they like, but I am also super independent and understand when the host has no time. :) So just let me know what is your hosting style for the moment.

Sobre mi:
Soy sociable, no tengo complejos, me río mucho, me encanta contar y escuchar historias.
Viaje por Sudamerica y Centroamercia por 8 meses, Asia or 4 meses y conozco otros paises por ahi.
Amo el cafe, la comida, cocinar, nadar y hablar de arquitectura, historia, political.

Como surfer: Me encanta cuando el host tiene tiempo de hacer algo juntos, contarme sobre la ciudad, o mostrarme sus lugares preferidos, o que cocinemos juntos. Pero entiendo cuando no tienen tiempo y tambien soy super independiente así que me adapto a cualquier estilo que el host pueda ofrecer.

Profesionalmente:
Actualmente estudio un PhD en Planificación Territorial, amo todo acerca de como funcionan las ciudades y qué significa el lugar donde vivimos para nuestra vida diaria. Así que me gusta aprender sobre los barrios, los espacios públicos y las historias de la gente que vive ahí.
Trabajo en hacer ciudades más amigables con la infancia, donde niños y niñas puedan jugar y mobilizarse Independientemente. Tengo una oficina de planificación urbana con proyectos en Holanda y Latinoamerica.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it is a platform with unlimited possibilities to learn. I would love to meet interesting people and learn from them. See through their eyes the places they live in or the places they have visited. I think that exchanging stories and experiences we can generate knowledge.

Estoy en Couchsurfing porque es un espacio donde se puede conocer gente muy interesante y aprender de ellos, cada persona vive experiencias diferentes y el intercambio de esas vivencias genera conocimiento.

Interests

Me gusta viajar, soy muy buena cocinando y me encanta.
Estudié derecho y actualmente tengo una oficina que trabaja en urbanismo llamada "Huasipichanga."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling by truck 28 hours in Chile was one of the best experiences I ever had.
Building a public space in Germany in 72 hours.
Getting electrocuted accidentally in a concert trying to reach the stage and hug the artist.

Creo que después de estudiar tanto sobre derecho romano, ver el Coliseo en Roma fue impactante en mi vida., viaje en el tiempo por aproximadamente 3 minutos y medio.
Construir un espacio público en 72 horas.
Electrocutarme en un concierto de axe por querer abrazar al cantante.
