Hi~! I'm Vivie, a San Franciscan currently studying abroad in the beautiful Torino, in the Piedmonte region of Italy. I've been fortunate enough to have an opportunity not many people possess, the ability and means (on a budget of course haha) to travel. I think traveling is the richest thing one can do for oneself. Experiencing another country and culture through it's people and stories is the best way to humble yourself and to become less ethnocentric/more open-minded.

Which brings me to why I'm on couchsurf because I'm a broke college student who wants to see the world while I can, and eat delicious food, meet beautiful souls, connect with people, build bridges, visit art museums, observe stunning views, catch sunsets, dance freely, listen to amazing music and witness humanity in it's entirety.

I truly believe that we are all similar than we are different. True understanding comes from open conversation with open-hearts, and where else will you find open-minded people than a website where individuals are literally opening up their homes to strangers? Haha
