My name is Virginie and I'm currently living in Nancy - nothern east of France.

I'm part time event producer / ticketing assistant for gigs, exhibitions, faires, stand up, musical ... I love my job, it's a big part of my life and of my personality.

ATM, most of my friends are living abroad, so I'm travelling quite a lot for work and visiting them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy CS as, to my minds, it is so much better to meet nice people and share way-of-lives during traveling instead of staying alone at the hostel.

My philosphy as CS Host is that i'm welcoming people the way i'd like to be welcomed.

Music : loving each kind of soulful music. I'm quite obsessed with Post-Punk, New Wave, E.B.M., Metal and Trip-Hop.
Some bands : Joy Division, Covenant, Tool, Massive Attack, Trentemøller, The Velvet Underground, A Perfect Circle, New Order, Fad Gadget, Die Form, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Katatonia, Placebo, Tricky ...

Books : too much, as I have to buy more shelves.
I'm interested in everything linked with theatre, music I also read american litterature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Boring stuff" is the biggest part of my job, as i'm doing accounting and editing wages a lot, i'm staying in an office so not connected at all with the stage part.
Anyway, the most incredible stuff i did was going on stage as it wasn't planned at all for a big festival : really impressive and amazing !

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have something in particular to share as teaching how to play guitar or things like that. Maybe I can teach the art of kniting with your fingers : hours of fun !

I can also share with you my passion about art, cultural history and reading.
I'm not too bad at cooking, i could share some of my recipes !
