About Me

Love Life. Be Kind. Leave beautiful footprints on your path.

I wake up everyday feeling blessed for the love of my family and support of my friends. I dream of a world where everyone lives in peace & every child has a loving home.

I like feeling connected to the world through people and nature. I am an easy going & considerate person who enjoys being around positive and like-minded people. My dream is to travel the world & make films, make new friends, learn new ways of life and losing myself in beautiful landscape and cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I like to mingle with the locals, hear their stories and discover the city from their perspective. From my years of travelling I've met people who became life long friends, who have enriched my life in countless ways, and I hope to do the same for people I'll meet on my travel journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classical music, Jazz & soft rock are my favorite music genre along with film soundtracks.

I love watching documentaries, classic films and art house type of films from around the world. I'd love to have more time to read, and when I do I like reading literature and history related books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's difficult to single out one special moment in my life. I feel blessed to have lived a meaningful life. Below are some of the things that are still vivid in my memory:
- visiting the stunning villages of Cinque Terre with my friend Anna,
- roaming around Venice in the night and got lost in the mystical city,
- watching the mystical sunrise from the top of a dormant volcano in Hawaii then riding a bike down the mountain,
- Scuba diving in Catalina island in California and playing with the seals that swam among the luscious kelp forest,
- Hiking along the stunning 35km 'La Voie Suisse' trail that weaved around the stunning sites the Suisse cantons.

Teach, Learn, Share

When I stay with someone in their home I'd like to relate to them as I would a good friend. I'd be happy to teach the host/hostess a language I am familiar with (English, French, Vietnamese), marketing ideas, film making, photography, cooking Vietnamese/ Thai/French/Vegetarian food, gardening, and whatever I know that the host/hostess is interesting in learning. I'd be interested in getting to know the host/hostess, learning about the area and the local outing places.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am flexible and am happy to share what I can. I'm happy to share travelling tips, travel resources, contacts, food recipes, food, food/grocery expenses & help with house chores. If I'll be driving I'd happy to drive my host/hostess around to run errands.
The host/hostess is welcome to discuss this with me before hand and we'll work things out before my arrival.
