I am currently a grad student studying journalism and computer science. I am interested in making data visualizations to tell journalistic stories, and I also like making things with my hands (crochet, papercraft, woodworking, metalworking).

I really like art museums and traveling. In the U.S., I've lived in Southern California, Texas, and Seattle, WA, before moving to NYC. I also spent half a year in Guanajuato, Mexico, which is probably one of my favorite cities in the world. :-)

I am a fan of animated movies; at one point, I wanted to be an animator.

I'm currently reading Ted Chiang's "Stories of Your Life and Others."

I like cooking and eating with people! I think it's a nice way to bring people together. Some things I am pretty alright at making: Vietnamese spring rolls, chilaquiles, and avocado toast.

I also love playing board games with people. :-)
