About Me

Hola!
I'm a student currently taking a break to see a bit of the world. I completed my bachelors of sociology last year and love learning about different cultures and keeping up to date with what's going on the world.
Next year I will return to Australia to complete my masters in Cultural studies.
I'm a very independent person and love to travel alone. Most of the countries I have visited I have done so on my own, I really enjoy the freedom to do whatever I want, whenever I feel like doing it.
I think it's important for people to have an understanding of who they are in order for them to share their true self with other people.
I'm a free spirited person and like to do things as they come rather than to plan everything in advance. I'm a super honest person so feel free to ask me anything!
I believe that travelling is the most amazing experience, and I'm truely blessed to have the opportunity to do it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think staying with locals is a much more authentic way to really get to know a place. After travelling for a long time, it's also nice to sleep in a home rather than a dorm room with no atmosphere.

Interests

I love cooking, I have picked up many recipes and tips along my travel and truely love cooking for other people. There is something special about sharing food and good times with people, whether the are new friends, or family that you've known forever. Cooking is something that I tend to miss doing while travelling so if you can host me expect some delicious homecooked food!!
As i travel alone alot, i spend alot of time on my own. I love reading and in the last 2 months of my travels I have already finished 14 books, always looking for new recommendations of books I should read!

Murakami, Atwood, Orwell

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a tour guide through the San Blas Islands between Panam and Colombia. I worked with the Indigenous Kuna Yala people, and it was the most incredible experience! If you havent heard of the islands, google them!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an excellent cook and I love cooking for a crowd!!!!! It is often difficult to cook while travelling so I'd be more than happy to cook for you and your friends!
I love discussing politics and current affairs, and with all the travel I have done I have plenty of exciting stories to share..
