About Me
Hey guys!
I am Vivienne and from Germany.
I am living in a little village with 700 inhabitants and 3 busses a day. We have really nice nature around here, honestly, but I think you can clearly undestand me when I am telling you that it gets kind a boring after a while.
I want to explore the world, get to know different cultures, learning to accept differences and sharing similarities - That's basically the simple reason for which I am addicted to travel!
I would describe me as a really curious and openminded person, who tries to try out as many new things as possible. Additionally I laugh a lot and enjoy doing crazy to collect memories, that I can tell my grandchildren:)
I am in love with my piano and my harp! Furthermore I like reading, hanging out with friends, going to the cinema, eating icecream :D
I also enjoy painting or visiting museums about history and arts.
My favourite season is winter, as you can go for skiing - definitely my favourite sport!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Ofcourse I can't deny, that it is a good way to save some money, as travelling is really expensive and my budget limited, beeing only a student.
But that's not the only reason.
I've been travelling a lot with my parents, visited really nice cities around Europe and tried to soak up the culture. Reading insidertips on the internet or in books made it possible to do that, but I quickly realized that there is a limit to get to know the differences while beeing a tourist. I was wondering, how to become part of the city, part of the culture, part of the traditions and found my answer pretty easily: Locals!
So I took part in lots of exchange programms. To France, Italy, Australia and even Japan and you might already know, that after coming home I could proudly say, that I became more than a tourist.
I hope to collect a lot of great experiences with locals and to get to know the city in a way a tourist would never do, while doing chouchsurfing,
