Hi, I'm Viv! I am 21 from Adelaide in South Australia.

In mid-July I am flying to the UK to begin my three month (or possibly longer) trip. It's my fist time travelling independently so I'm incredibly excited.

This year I graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of International Tourism, majoring in festival and event management.
I am working full time as a Public Relations Assistant and in a beautiful restaurant in South Australia. I also babysit some awesome kids which is a lot of fun.

I am always very enthusiastic and energetic and look forward to doing as much as I can to make the most of my time abroad. I love meeting new people and exploring new places. I am passionate about involving myself with the culture of wherever I visit, and by meeting local people I hope to see destinations from a unique perspective.

The most important thing for me on my travels is to meet new people wherever I may be. CouchSurfing seems like a fantastic way to do so as I am also looking to travel in a somewhat affordable way.

As you can see I don't have any references yet, but I guarantee I will be great company to host. I have used AirBnb before and loved the concept of staying and experiencing destinations from a local's point of view.

When staying as a guest I am very sociable and love to hang out but also respect your privacy and value being able to relax alone too. I love cooking and entertaining, love going out and trying new restaurants but appreciate nights in when needed. I am incredibly tidy, respectful and make for some fun company.

I have had friends and family use CouchSurfing who have had fantastic experiences so I am hoping to do the same.

Working multiple jobs and studying full time has left me with limited spare time, but when I'm not working or studying I'd rather be out seeing friends and exploring.

When I do get a chance to relax, I enjoy listening to or watching almost all genres of music and movies.
I haven't read a book in quite a while, but hopefully with some time to travel off I'll be able to!
