extending genuine kindness to strangers...hoping to receive it in return someday. Finding travel partners...language practice...language teaching. Doing my part to make this world a more friendly and welcoming place.

Some of my loves include dancing, traveling off the beaten path, and writing. I am a laid back traveler- keeping a loose agenda yet preferring easy-going spontaneity. I love the outdoors but by Pacific NW standards I am not an outdoor junkie. I like hiking and camping when the weather is pleasant. I prefer exploring local historical sites, restaurants, bars, and social venues when it is not. The world is full of wonderful diverse and interesting people and I love the idea of hanging our, chatting it up, and exploring the sites with good company.
