About Me
CURRENT MISSION
No regrets, just plans for next time.
ABOUT ME
I'm frequently on the road, on my way to somewhere by way of everywhere else. Living the good life, meeting interesting people and trying new things. For the last ten or so years I've been living in Ecuador, Argentina, Germany, Switzerland, Egypt, and Singapore, though I'm originally from the US. From 2012 to end 2015 I lived in Ecuador, since December 2015 in Lebanon.
I'm also a vegetarian, which seems normal but is worth mentioning (I do eat fish and seafood when traveling). I hope you don't hold it against me. Someone said I should mention it here, just in case you are an incorrigible carnivore and don't know of anything edible that's not meat...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm mostly a surfer, though I've hosted here and there. I tend to travel much more than actually live anywhere, so...

Music, Movies, and Books
I prefer books in French, music in Spanish or Brazilian, coffee in Indonesian or Colombian, wine in Argentinian, Chilean or Spanish, movies in German, and food in Thai, Italian or Indian :D. Here is my opportunity to be pretentious and talk about how I love good literature and fancy foreign films, but honestly I love anything interesting and which tells a story of a person, place or time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned to speak without language and walk alone.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me anything. Preferences for languages, cooking, beers, talents, stories.....
I go hiking, climbing, or mountaineering pretty much every weekend. If you are into that, you are welcome to tag along or I can help you organize your own hikes/climbs.
