About Me

CURRENT MISSION

not to fail to communicate

ABOUT ME

Ufff... I'm still trying to figure out what defines me the most as a person. As time goes by, I think that my main characteristic is that I do things I believe in with my whole being. I put soul in everything I consider valuable act.

PHILOSOPHY

I deeply believe that each of us was born for a reason. Most of us has to struggle to find it, it's a whole battle. But even if sometimes it feels impossible, we have to follow our OWN way. I think that the greatest sin towards our own person is not to accomplish the goal we were sent for here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard of CS from a friend, Veronika. At the moment I'm living in Uk to be trained as a volunteer for Africa so I can't really offer a couch but as soon as I finish the programme I would be more than glad to host people from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's realy difficult to choose one particular movie or book and say that this is my favourite. I like Kieslowki's movies (3 colours: Blue, White, Red; Decalog) or Kim Ki Duk's (Spring, summer, autumn, winter and summer again; Time; 3 irons) or Almodovar's (Mala educacion, Todo sobre mi madre, Atame, Volver, Habla con ella). Here are some more titles of movies that I could watch over and over again: Into the wild, Harold and Maude, Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, Chocolate, Mar a dentro, The sky above Berlin, Damage, My life without me, Dancer in the dark, Love me if you dare...

Here are some of my favourite books:
J.D. Salinger - Franny and Zooey
Dostoievski - The idiot
Dostoievski - The Karamazov brothers
Coetzee - The master from Petersburg
G.G. Marquez - One hundred years of solitude
Marquez - Love in the time of cholera
Haruki Murakami - all of his novels!!!
Bulgakov - The master and Margarita
G.Orwell - 1984
Anna Gavalda - I loved him
Nikosz Kazantzakisz - Zorba, the greek

My favourite Hungarian writers are Szabo Magda and Hamvas Bela.

I like the music of the '80s, retro, reggae, rock. I could listen to Cat Stevens at any hour. He is one of the greatest singers. Great voice and great lyrics...

Teach, Learn, Share

"Life doesn't require ideals. It requires standards of action." - Haruki Murakami

"Most people would call that love, if you think you want to understand me. My system for living is way different from other people's systems for living." - H.M

- Coetzee
