Overview
About Me
Hello everyone! I'm Valdir Junior, from São Luís, MA, in Brazil's northeast. In 2012, I seized a fantastic academic opportunity that took me to the United States for 14 months – an experience that deepened my love for meeting people from around the globe.
Currently, I’m not in a position to offer lodging, but I’m always up for good company, a chat over a beer, and engaging in everyday conversations. I firmly believe in the power of such interactions to forge genuine friendships, something I’ve personally experienced through similar platforms.
Traveling has always been a passion of mine. My dream is to soon venture abroad with an empty suitcase, eager to traverse the globe, immerse myself in diverse cultures, meet new friends, and fill that suitcase with the rich knowledge and unforgettable memories I gather along the way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm eager to give back the kindness and consideration I've received from fellow hosts. My goal is to find welcoming companions and comfortable places to stay during my travels. Additionally, I'm excited to guide visitors in my city, showing them around and even sharing a beer as we explore.

Teach, Learn, Share
Share lifelong experiences and I can teach Portuguese if it is not your mother tongue!
You know what? I really envy those members who say they can cook and even teach hosts recipe of their home places! I suck at doing anything in the kitchen! But I promise I am an ace at doing the dishes and cleaning!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lifestories, lifeplans, teach them English, Spanish and Portuguese!
I really like to laugh and bring some joy to the people I'm surrounded by!
