Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just got into this beautiful world of couchsurfing, starting as a surfer, hopefully one day I'll be able to host also!!

Interests

Learning about new cultures is something I love to do.
I love to spend as much time as possible outside. Forest, mountains, beach or park, anything to see beautiful landscape, enjoy the sun and breathe fresh air! A night outside around a bonfire with friends and guitars is one of my favourite thing to do!

Animation is a passion for me. I love to interact with people/kids and organise activities!

Another passion I have since a young age is dance. I did all kind of dances such as: Ballet, Jazz, Funky, Hip Hop, Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha, contemporary, little tango and looking to learn other dances from all over the world!

I love cooking, baking and eating! Love to try new food from different countries!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is "Into the Wild", a movie based on the true story of Christopher McCandless. Several quotes of the movie sums up pretty much my philosophy of life: - "The core of man's spirit comes from new experiences"
-"Happiness only real when shared"
-"When you want something in life, you just gotta reach out and grab it"

I have a long list of books that I really liked but here is the last book I read and that really touched me. It's " Les enfants de la liberté" by Marc Levy. It talks about the reality of young adults and kids that were in the resistance in France during second world war.

I simply love music. I love all kinds but have a little preference for Folk / Acoustic. I did try to play piano and guitar but didn't have much time to practice in the last years so this is hopefully a short term project to realise!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My whole trip to Peru left me awestruck cause it was the first time I was in interaction with other cultures in their environment and i loved it. Maccu Piccu was definitely a breathtaking moment.

I have to say I am always amazed by children. There are so many moments that left me awestruck working with them. By example, two kids who comes from different cultures, don't speak the same language but will still go up to the other and play together. A simple but yet amazing moment!

I want to learn everything! I can teach you french, english, cooking, dancing, organising activities and i love to hear from and share experiences!
